If you’re looking for fun ways to spend summer, look no further! Prairie River Camp has many activity options for campers of all ages. Both as part of our many summer camps as well as being available to outside groups and individuals throughout the year. Below are just a few of the things we have to offer.

** - Fishing on camp property and on public property is allowed with a MN fishing License.  Nearby public fishing at Rice Lake and Walnut Lake.

ACTIVITIES

 
We offer both low and high ropes challenge courses to test and grown each member of your team!  Low ropes for building critical thinking skills, self-evaluation, team work, trust and communication. HIgh ropes for setting goals, challenging your body, facing fears and overcoming obstacles.  These activities are perfect for a wide variety of groups and individuals!
HIGH ELEMENTS

The High Elements, 30 feet or more from the ground, will challenge and encourage all age groups.  High ropes challenges will strengthen the participant in goal setting, physical strength, facing fears, and overcoming obstacles.  Safety is always our number one concern, and all our facilitators are professionally trained and hold ACCT Level 1 certifications .

LOW ELEMENTS

The low elements are eight feet or less off the ground. They encourage the use of balance, coordination, average strength, persistence, determination, reliance, and trust in teammates. These challenges require teamwork to complete successfully. These activities allow the facilitator to work with the group, to help them accomplish team objectives such as communication, cooperation, and trust, while having a positive experience in a safe environment.

Come out and experience the thrill of paintball as you battle your friends in this exciting activity!  Prairie River Camp has four different paintball courses for you to experience, and we can completely outfit any group of up to 25 people.

Marker Paintball is recommended for ages 11 and up and is a fantastic activity for a wide variety of groups and functions - from office parties, to youth groups outings, to birthday parties, to bachelore parties! 

For younger children, slingshot paintball is a great alternative to marker paintball. Slingshot paintball is for ages 10 and under.

Marker Paintball - $30 per person - includes rental equipment, field use, referees, 500 paintballs and compressed air.

Slingshot Paintball - $15 per person - includes rental equipment, field use, referees, and 125 paintballs.
