Prairie River Camp has various seasonal summer and casual part-time year-round positions available in many departments. Shifts vary by department.  Help is needed in the following areas:

Food Service Department (All Year)

  • Food preparation, dish washers, and kitchen utility person

  • Shifts are primarily Thursday through Sunday

Zipline Guides & Laser Tag Leaders (All Year)

  • Ensure the safety and enjoyment of Camp’s guests by operating the zip line and laser tag course in a safe manner, preventing accidents or incidents through careful diligence.

  • On occasion, any and all employees may be asked to help in another area of Camp.

  • Qualifications:

    • Possess the physical and emotional stamina as well as the motor and mental capacities required to perform assigned functions

    • Receive special training in zip line and laser tag operations

    • Safety consciousness and ability to focus

    • Ability to interact well with the public and assist guests in processing adventure experiences

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager position requires a “hands-on” person to perform daily facility maintenance projects, including but not limited to cleaning, painting, plumbing, door hardware repairs, and adjustments. S/he will oversee building systems contracts and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical, landscaping, and janitorial. S/he will work with the facilities team to maintain a problem-free work environment. S/he will also ensure that the JTB complies with the local, state, and federal applicable codes, regulations, and standards of operations.
