The Dining Hall is the upper level of the Shelter at PRC. This space can accommodate a wide range or uses - large group meeting space, dining space, worship space, or recreation space. Max occupancy of 95. A full commercial kitchen is available for food prep. Space includes bathrooms, optional tables, and optional chairs.
The Shelter is the lower level of the new dining hall building at PRC. This space can accommodate a wide range or uses - large group meeting space, dining space, or recreation space. Max occupancy of 90. A full domestic kitchen is available for food prep. Space includes bathrooms, optional cozy seating area with electric fireplace, and optional game room activities.
Formerly St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vivian Township in Waseca County, the church building was moved to PRC in 2002. It is a classic 1800’s country church and has a seating capacity of up to 40. It is a great option for meeting space, worship, or group gatherings. Basic audio visual equipment is available.
Located in the church basement, this space offers a comfortable coffee shop atmosphere. A great choice for small groups, birthday parties, reunions, or just relaxing with a good book. It is complete with a full kitchen, family bathroom, and cozy seating, plus a covered patio. This space is a great options for groups up to 30 people who want to prepare their own food.

River Lodge Great Room is a great option for a group of 12 - 16 people. Located in the top half of the River Lodge, this space offers a comfortable home atmosphere. A great choice for small groups, meeting, reunions, or just relaxing with a good book. It is complete with a counter space, 2 half baths, microwave, mini-fridge, and cozy seating, plus a porch.
The large Amphitheater is a great options for large group gatherings that desire a outdoor setting that is covered with a wide range of audio visual options. The Amphitheater features a large 20' x 40' stage, and has seating for upwards of 200 people. The Amphitheater is available June -Sept.
Located in the heart of camp, our playground, yard games, and fire pits are often right in the center of camps and retreats. The playground area features a merry-go-round, Rainbow play set, mini zip line, swing set, Emily's Swing, sandbox and yard games like Ga-Ga Ball, Nine Square in the Air and tether ball. The fire pits have stone camp fire rings surrounded by Adirondack chairs and benches. And endless supply of free firewood is available to all Prairie River Camp guests. Use of these facilities are free to all guests.
The Prayer Chapel is a great place for small groups, families, or individuals to get away and pray and worship. Built on the original site of the Bricelyn Lutheran Church, this quarter sized replica provides a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to pray, worship, or enjoy moments of solitude. The Prayer Chapel seats between 16 people, has electricity, and features a gas fireplace for heating during the cold weather months.
